Warranty & Claims

1. Nature of the warranty. CLARK provides commercial warranties in addition to the customer’s mandatory statutory rights. These warranties do not replace or reduce protections established by applicable law.

2. Sunglasses and prescription frames. They include a limited two-year commercial warranty from delivery against manufacturing defects affecting the structure, hinges, assembly or materials.

3. Prescription lenses. They are protected against verified manufacturing, fitting or conformity errors compared with the approved prescription and specifications. Adaptation difficulties do not automatically constitute a defect.

4. Leather goods. They include a limited 12-month commercial warranty from delivery against manufacturing defects affecting stitching, hardware, closures, bonding or assembly.

5. General exclusions. The warranty does not cover normal wear, scratches, impact damage, drops, crushing, loss, theft, misuse, incorrect storage, overloading, moisture, contact with salt water, heat, perfume, cosmetics, alcohol, chemicals, abrasive materials or alterations and repairs performed by third parties.

6. Natural leather characteristics. Variations in colour, texture, grain and patina that do not affect the product’s function or integrity are not considered defects.

7. Claim request. The claim must be sent to support@clarkshopcol.com with the order number, description, clear photographs and any additional information requested.

8. Assessment. CLARK may request the return of the product, original prescription, professional verification, measurements, videos or additional evidence. The customer must not alter or repair the product before assessment.

9. Remedies. Depending on the nature of the case and applicable law, CLARK may offer repair, replacement parts, remake, product replacement, price reduction or refund. The remedy will be determined after technical assessment.

10. Transportation. CLARK covers reasonable return or replacement costs when a defect or error attributable to CLARK or the optical laboratory is confirmed. If the case is not covered, any cost will be disclosed before proceeding.

11. Mandatory rights. Where applicable law provides greater protection or a specific remedy, that law will prevail.
